The Business Transaction
Type dimension displays the existing business transaction types utilized in the Investment Register
report. Its attributes are partially customizable and play a crucial role in the consolidation process. These attributes are employed to retrieve information related to elements in both the Consolidation
and Transaction Type
dimensions, facilitating the storage of eliminated and added figures.

Name
|
Name of Business Transaction type, e.g., Investment, Capital Increase or Decrease, Foundation. |
Default PnL Account
|
Element from the PnL Account dimension: Capture a PnL Account value for the investor. Used to capture the sales price from a divestment. This default setting can be accepted or modified by the user when creating a new business transaction.
Empty: Do not capture any profit and loss value. Used for all other types. |
Merge Investment.Method
|
Currently, only the Replace Opening and Movements method is available. If nothing is selected, no action will be triggered. |
Merge Investment.Elimination.Consolidation
|
The element of the Consolidation dimension used to write back eliminated amounts from separate financial statements. Not configurable by the user. |
Merge Investment.Addition.Consolidation
|
The element of Consolidation dimension, used to write back amounts from the Investment Register . Not configurable by the user. |
Merge Investment.Transaction Type
|
Transaction type to write back amounts from the Investment Register . Partly configurable. See also the article Transaction Type Dimension (Financial Consolidation). |
Balance Sheet Correction.Method
|
Move Opening . If nothing is selected, no action will be triggered. |
Balance Sheet Correction.Elimination.Consolidation
|
The element of Consolidation dimension used to write back eliminated opening balances from the company included in the group. Not configurable. |
Balance Sheet Correction.Addition.Consolidation
|
The element of Consolidation dimension used to write back moved opening balances from the company included in the group. Not configurable. |
Balance Sheet Correction.Transaction Type
|
The values are eliminated from the T000 - Opening transaction type and moved to the T011 - Incoming units transaction type. |
